The Thingmaker is a little heat source with different plates that had impressions in them. You could buy these glue like tubes of gel and squeeze them into the plates to make items that were slightly thicker than gummi bears. Not edible though.
I found one at a garage sale in this cute little town, Brownsville, OR. It also happens to be the town where they filmed Stand By Me.
